Product Purchase & Payment

All prices are as stated on our website or in-store and include VAT where applicable. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as indicated. Whilst we strive for accuracy, errors in pricing may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them.

Service Booking & Appointments

Bespoke tailoring and interior design consultations must be booked in advance. A deposit may be required to secure your appointment, which will be specified at the time of booking. Appointment durations are estimates, and additional time or charges may apply for significantly extended consultations.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

For cancellations or rescheduling of services and appointments, we require at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit or a cancellation fee. Specific terms for larger projects will be outlined in your service agreement.

Returns & Refunds

Unused and unopened items in their original condition may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange with a valid receipt. Bespoke or customised items are non-refundable unless faulty. Service deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable if cancelled with sufficient notice.

Bespoke Tailoring & Custom Work

For all bespoke and custom work, a detailed consultation and specific agreement will be provided, outlining materials, design specifications, timelines, and payment schedules. Due to the unique nature of these services, specific terms regarding alterations, cancellations, and final delivery will be agreed upon individually at the time of commissioning.

Workshop & Event Participation

Discover the joy of creation with Hearth & Stitch Emporium's textile artistry workshops. This section outlines the terms to ensure a smooth, safe, and fulfilling experience for all participants.

Booking & Payment

Full payment for workshops is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Bookings are non-transferable unless explicitly agreed upon with Hearth & Stitch Emporium. Early booking is encouraged as spaces are limited to ensure a quality experience.

Participant Responsibilities & Safety

Participants are responsible for their own safety and adhering to all instructions provided by the workshop instructor. Please highlight any allergies or medical conditions that may affect your participation. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for creative work.

Materials & Take-Home Policy

Unless otherwise stated, all necessary materials for your workshop will be provided. You are welcome to take home any finished items created during the workshop. Additional materials may be available for purchase at the Emporium.

Workshop Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • By Participant: Workshop fees are non-refundable. However, if you provide at least 7 days' notice, we may offer a credit for a future workshop of equal value, subject to availability. Less than 7 days' notice results in forfeiture of the fee.
  • By Hearth & Stitch Emporium: In the rare event a workshop is cancelled by us (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient numbers), participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to an alternative date or workshop.

Photography & Promotional Consent

During workshops, photographs may be taken for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media). By participating, you provide consent for your image to be used in such materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the instructor at the beginning of the workshop, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
